Venz & Jiggy Djé are back on air with #deMVP14: a round-up of the past year in Dutch hip-hop.
For those who missed it, last Monday #deMVP14 winners were annoucend at Juize. For the first time the public didn't vote, but the Dutch hiphop scene itself chose who the best rapper and producer from 2014 is and what the 22 best Dutch hip hop tracks of all time are, categorized in: the most meritorious rapper, producer and track (in Dutch: Poët, Producer and Poku). Perhaps surprisingly Ronnie Flex and Boaz v/d Beatz grabbed the prices for best rapper and producer. The best hip hop song ever goes, somewhat less suprisingly, to Opgezwolle. The most votes went out to their track Verre Oosten.
Listen to the record of #deMVP14 live show below or enjoy the 22 top voted tracks over here!
Ronnie Flex, Boaz v/d Beatz and Opgezwolle, did they deserve it to win? Leave a reply.
